A Love Letter to Rain
"A mist ascended from the earth and watered the whole surface of the soil" (Genesis 2:6).
I- effervescently- pranced my heart throughout the fields, intoxicating my heart with breeze my toes became drenched in soil while the sun enlightens, catalyzing my molasses-smudged strains of filament into amber. With alacrity pulsating through my blood, "Eden, eden~!", I squealed while my skin appeared to blossom a seraphic pigment of emerald- my mother told me that grass is for playing. But an everlasting conclusion each child must come to know is that the sun cannot stand in piety forever, and once a relative fortnight had slipped across the firmament the clock had eclipsed and the sun bid farewell- enveloping the fields with a blanket derived from the fruit of a childish make-believe. From above, the blanket began to cry. Maybe the sun was overcome with sorrow, it is true that he had momentarily abandoned his friends. However, the sun continued to persist in my heart: "Let there be light" said the sun, and the light never left.
The graceful, enthralling mist of a parfum d'eau sacrée had bequeathed upon us, and the sky began embellishing the soil with her tears as the friends of the earth twinkled with exhilaration- it was time for them to nourish. The sun had abandoned me here, but he blessed me with a new friend.
